Our Impact

Impact is more than reach.

OS Lab works to strengthen what people know, what institutions are able to do and how digital risks are understood and addressed. Our impact approach combines implementation, evidence and learning — because activity matters, but change matters more.

Our impact philosophy

From participation to meaningful change.

We measure not only who we reach, but what becomes possible afterwards.

A training session, school visit or community programme is not the final outcome. It is part of a longer process of building knowledge, confidence, safer behaviour, stronger response systems and more resilient institutions. We therefore look beyond attendance figures to examine learning, capability, implementation quality, remaining risk and opportunities for further action.

Where we work

Built for context, adapted for place.

OS Lab works across different institutional and community environments. Each setting brings its own realities, resources, risks and strengths. Our approach is designed to adapt without losing the core principles of evidence, safeguarding, inclusion and practical implementation.

What we measure

Evidence that supports learning and accountability.

  • 01Reach and participation
  • 02Knowledge and competency
  • 03Confidence and readiness to act
  • 04Risk recognition and judgement
  • 05Institutional policies and response pathways
  • 06Quality of implementation
  • 07Participant experience and feedback
  • 08Referral and safeguarding needs
  • 09Outcomes and areas requiring further intervention
Impact stories

The work behind the numbers.

Every programme takes place in a real environment with real pressures, constraints and possibilities. Our impact stories show how digital risks are experienced, how interventions are adapted and what we learn through implementation.

Case Study Framework

This is the structure OS Lab uses for every published case study — a framework, not a filled-in story. Verified stories will be published here once available.

  • 01The context
  • 02The challenge
  • 03What OS Lab delivered
  • 04Who participated
  • 05What changed or was learned
  • 06What happens next

Behind every number is a learner, educator, employee, parent or community becoming better equipped to navigate digital life.

Learning & outcomes

What the evidence helps us see.

Our monitoring and assessment work helps identify where knowledge is strong, where confidence may be misleading, where participants remain uncertain and where institutional support is needed. These insights shape future programme design, targeted interventions and practical recommendations for schools, workplaces, funders and implementation partners.

Partners in impact

Collaboration extends what is possible.

OS Lab works with schools, funders, public institutions, businesses, technology partners, researchers and civil-society organisations. Partnerships may support programme reach, specialist expertise, technology, referral pathways, funding, research or long-term systems strengthening.

Reports & learning products

Turning implementation into shared knowledge.

Where appropriate, OS Lab develops reports, dashboards, case studies, briefing papers and learning products that help partners understand progress and improve future action.

  • 01Baseline and needs-assessment reports
  • 02Programme monitoring reports
  • 03Outcome and learning reports
  • 04Impact dashboards
  • 05Case studies
  • 06Insight briefs
  • 07Recommendations for scale or continuation
Fund or sponsor impact

Support digital safety where it is needed most.

Funders, CSI and ESG partners can support targeted interventions or larger multi-site programmes across schools, workplaces and communities. OS Lab works with partners to define the intended impact, implementation model, measurement framework and reporting requirements.

Sustainable impact is built when delivery, evidence and learning move together.
